Sixty building managers, energy unions, energy suppliers, integrators, and aggregators gathered to finalize the rollout of the Flex Ready® standard, now ready for scaling up in 2026.

A morning full of valuable insights:
🔹 A clear framework for action:
The technical standards are now available on the Think Smartgrids website: Flex Ready.

🔹 A look back at the context, which is more than favorable to flexibility: with numerous presentations: Roles of the 𝐅𝐍𝐂𝐂𝐑 and 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐄, local and national flexibility panorama, BACS regulation, role of aggregators.

Helene Pulce – Responsable flexibilité pour Enedis

Concrete feedback from the field: Energy unions, through SyDEV and Morbihan Energies, demonstrated how to deploy Flex Ready® solutions in their region.

2 practical exercises to participate in the analysis:

– Financial structuring and business models: What financing options and returns on investment?

– Interoperability, technical architecture, governance, and coordination: How to involve all stakeholders, and how to guarantee system compatibility?

Why does this event mark a turning point?

This latest pilot version of the Tour de France demonstrates:

– The close collaboration between TSG and local authorities, through its partnership with the FNCCR,

– The commitment of industry and local authorities to scale up flexibility,

– The maturity of the tools: with the available frameworks, everything is ready for deployment!

🚀What’s next? Capitalizing on feedback to refine the tools and continue launching new projects.
