Published 25 Novembre 2015

On the occasion of the European Utility Week 2015, which took place in Vienna from the 3rd to the 5th of November, the participation of numerous companies of the smart grids sector, among which 26 members of the Think Smartgrids association, allowed for the fruitful promotion of the French expertise. The EUW2015 gathered more than 10 000 visitors in the course of three days.

The 500 m² French Pavilion was set up by Business France in order to gather the booths of French companies. On the 3rd of November, the French ambassador in Vienna his Excellency Pascal Tixeira, accompanied by the president of Think Smartgrids Philippe Monloubou, visited the Pavilion so that they could learn more about French solutions.

Think Smartgrids welcomed numerous visitors on booth, and notably a Bresilian delegation comprising more than ten members and invited by Pr. Nouredine Hadj Said. These visits lead to successful exchanges about the French know-how in terms of smart grids solutions.

The Think Smartgrids association also organized conferences on booth in order to present its members and their solutions:

  • On the 3rd of November, a presentation of French demonstrators, with Alexis Phelizon (ERDF and Laurent Caillerez (ADEME)
  • On the 4th of November, a presentation of the socio-economic assessment of smart grids, by Cédric Léonard (RTE)
  • And on the 5th of November, a presentation about the flexibility of smart grids, by Rodolphe de Beaufort (General Electrics Grid Solutions)
