Published 22 Décembre 2017

The Future Investment Programme has just launched a new call for projects “Innovation Competition”. Energy, subdivided into renewable energies, storage and energy systems, is one of the eight themes of the competition, and one of the four “operated” by Ademe.

The “renewable energies” axis focuses on innovative production technologies, production optimization and monitoring tools, functions allowing greater sustainability and better integration into the grid or any form of coupling with a user grid.

The “Storage and energy systems” axis focuses on:

  • lstorage solutions for different uses / time scales and associated business models,
  • observability, operability and management of networks,
  • solutions and tools for the integration of renewable energies,
  • the use of data from substations, communicating meters and associated energy services,
  • competitive technical-economic models for grid-connected micro-grids and for isolated systems in rural areas,
  • optimized management of heating/cooling networks.

The winning projects will have total costs of between €600,000 and €5 million, and will be offered co-financing for their research, development and innovation expenses.

The call for projects is open until 13 March 2018.

This competition, as well as its themes, will be renewed every six months.

As a reminder, Ademe had financed its previous investment programme for the future of “EnR & intelligent energy management” projects to the tune of 1.1 billion euros, 12% of which for Smart Grids, i.e. around 130 million euros.
