Enedis has once again topped Singapore Power Group’s Smart Grid Index, named the “world’s smartest” Distribution System Operator out of 94 operators evaluated, with an overall score that has risen to 98.2% (+1.8% compared to 2021).
Enedis appears to be particularly advanced in the following areas
– enhanced digitization of network operating equipment and facilities (primary substations, secondary substations, fault indicators, etc.), as well as the application of artificial intelligence-based methods to optimize grid performance;
– ever finer and more responsive data analysis thanks to the 35.6 million smart meters and the many connected objects installed on the network infrastructure;
– Intelligent connection offers for renewable energies to accelerate their deployment at the lowest cost;
– Cybersecurity, with the successful transposition of European standards and directives;
– Citizen services around electric mobility, self-consumption, local flexibilities…
