ESPACE GRENELLE (showroom): discover how Europe’s first national Distribution System Operator, Enedis, is transforming the power distribution network in France to lead the energy transition (smart meters, IoT, Distributed energy resources integration and e-mobility). ISSYGRID PILOT PROJECT (site visit), a wide range of smart grid solutions applied to an entire urban district (flexibility, storage, integration of local solar power, smart EV charging, smart lighting, power consumption optimisation). Location: Issy-les-Moulineaux, Paris Region. Organizer: Enedis
Showroom and site visits on November 15th
SMILE guided tours, a showcase for French smart grid expertise.
Visits will take place on the 15th of November. Participants will be taken care of all day long, lunch and transport from Paris included.
Integration of Renewable energies and flexibility – Smile Nantes: Explore one of Europe’s biggest “smart districts” with PassivHaus certification, discover the first Power-to-gas demonstrator in France, a pioneer site for smart connection and regional management of the electricity distribution network and over 50 smart energy projects. Location: Nantes, Pays-de-la-Loire.
Smart grids: the electric grids of the future – Smile Rennes : a guided tour to discover the projects related to smart grids and electric mobility deployed in Brittany as part of SMILE, a showcase for the French expertise of smart grids. Location: Rennes, Brittany
Hydrogen and electromobility – Smile Nantes: travel in the world’s longest electric busway, experience the 1st urban hydrogen vehicle loading terminal, discover how hydrogen can be stored on France’s first positive energy service industry building and discover over 50 smart energy projects in SMILE’s showroom. Location: Nantes, Pays-de-la-Loire.
Showroom and Smartgas route – Smile Rennes: discover the latest developments in smart gas grids, with over 50 projects presented in the Smile showroom, visit LIGER, a smart territory project based on biogas, and discover the new West Grid Synergy Bidirectional technology, allowing a better integration of ENRs thanks to the digitisation of gas networks. Location: Rennes, Brittany.
